Maintenance
Loss of power is strictly prohibited
The battery of the electric sightseeing car is strictly prohibited from being in a depleted state when stored. The power loss state refers to the fact that the electric sightseeing vehicle has not been charged in time after being used for a long time (after one month). When batteries are stored in a depleted state, sulfation is likely to occur. Lead sulfate crystals adhere to the plates and block the ion channels, resulting in insufficient charging and reduced battery capacity. The longer the idle time is in the depleted state, the more serious the battery damage will be. Therefore, when the sightseeing car is idle, it should be recharged once a month, so as to better maintain the reduced battery capacity.
Regular inspection
During use, if the cruising range of the sightseeing car suddenly drops significantly in a short period of time, it is likely that there is a problem with at least one battery in the battery pack. At this time, you should go to the nearest electric vehicle maintenance point or measure with a multimeter in time and stop using the vehicle. Then go to the electric sightseeing car production and sales center or agent maintenance department for inspection, repair or assembly. This can relatively extend the life of the battery pack and save money to the greatest extent. Avoid high current discharge
When starting an electric sightseeing car, carrying people, or going uphill, try to avoid slamming on the vehicle to accelerate, causing an instantaneous large current discharge. High current discharge can easily lead to the formation of lead sulfate crystals, thereby damaging the physical properties of the battery plates.
Charging time
During use, the charging time should be accurately grasped according to the actual situation, and the charging frequency should be determined with reference to the usual frequency of use and mileage. After being fully charged, charge the battery if the running time is short. The charging time should not be too long, otherwise it will cause overcharging and cause the battery to heat up. Overcharging, overdischarging and undercharging will shorten battery life.
Avoid plug heat
Loose 220-volt power plug or charger output plug, oxidation of the contact surface, etc. will cause the plug to heat up. If the heating time is too long, it will cause the plug to short circuit or have poor contact, damage the charger and battery, and cause unnecessary losses. Therefore, when the above situation is discovered, the oxides should be removed or the connector should be replaced in time.
Check tire pressure regularly
Keep tire pressure at the correct pressure; tire pressure must be checked every two weeks or at least monthly;
Incorrect tire pressure will cause power consumption, short driving mileage, reduce driving comfort, reduce tire life and reduce driving safety;
Other notes
1. Before leaving the vehicle every day, check whether the battery is sufficient, whether the brake performance is good, whether the screws are loose, etc. If there are any faults, they should be repaired and eliminated in time. Only when the inspection is completed and there are no faults can the vehicle be driven out;
2. Charging should be done in a place out of reach of children;
3. Every time you park your car, you must turn off the power switch, pull out the key, move the gear switch to the neutral position, and pull up the handbrake;
4. When repairing or replacing batteries or electrical appliances, you must turn off the main power switch before operating;
5. Children should unplug the key switch when playing in the car to avoid danger;
6. Before driving an electric vehicle, you must check whether the door is closed tightly;
7. When a fire occurs due to an accident or other reasons, the main power switch should be turned off immediately.
Performance check
·Forward/Reverse control: Check whether the operation is correct.
·Brake: Make sure the brake is functioning correctly. When the brake pedal is fully depressed with appropriate pressure, the vehicle should stop smoothly and in a straight line.
·Parking Brake: When locked, the parking brake should lock the wheels and keep the vehicle stationary. It should release when the accelerator pedal is depressed.
